In celebration of the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on the 12th of August 2023, H.M. Queen Sirikit Park Foundation has led the organisation of the botanical and forestry “Seesanphanmai” Event to reminisce Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother’s contributions in fostering happiness for the people. By collaborating with 26 partner organisations, the event features the following exhibitions initiated by a number of government agencies as well as royally-initiated projects and foundations such as:
- The Rice Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives
- The Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives
- The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
- Forest Industry Organization, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
- The Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education
- The Model Farm Royal Initiative Project of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother
- The Royal Project Foundation
- The Friends in Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation
Additionally, botanical and fighting fish competitions are to be held by the Ornamental Plants Association of Thailand.
Visitors are welcome to view the exhibitions and purchase fresh produces from royally-initiated projects and local farmers at the event which will take place from 10th – 15th August 2023 at Queen Sirikit Park, Jatujak District, Bangkok.
